Rain, Rain...stay: if your weather is more rain prone - paint / marker a picture with washable markers and take the photo outside into the rain - the kids love watching the raindrops swirl and spread the colors
Paint the snow: fill spray bottles with water and add a few drops of food coloring to each - now you've got kid safe and temporary paint / play tic tac toe, create multicolored snowballs, trace footprints
give them an errand: ask your budding meteorologist to monitor the weather / guess the temp. / ask about the weather by looking at the sky / walk to the bird feeder...
go out and create a trail of cereal or bread crumbs / then send the young explorer to find the hidden treasure
1 heart full of love 1 head full of understanding 2 eyes in the back of your head 3 heaping cups of patience 1 gallon of generosity 1 barrel of laughter
Mix well. Sprinkle with kidness, and plenty of faith. Heat with sunshine and spread generously over a lifetime for a plateful of joy and a cup of warm memories.
