Also the Chalk Art Festival at the Gateway is going on, along with the FREE UMFA craft day 2 PM on Saturday.
Thanks for those who came to make Father's Day Cards... After us mom's figured out what we were doing it went well.
I was hoping to meet up at least once a week this summer perhaps on Friday mornings if it works for you guys? Let me know what you think / and your ideas for the following weeks!!!

Might I suggest for the summer-- Have 2 set days each week where anyone who is available could meet at the stake park for playtime and bring your own lunch. ie. Tuesdays and Fridays 11-1. Or one day 9-11 and another 11-1? I think the Stake Park is usually pretty empty on weekdays during the day hours. You could alternate with another park, but it is nice to go somewhere not crowded and close enough to walk to if desired. Plus, its easy for everyone to remember if the meeting days and the location are always the same.
When it starts getting warmer, bring small pools, slip n slides, etc.
My vote during the summer is for easy, no stress activities that just lets the kids play and Mom gets the kids out of the house.

I think that friday's are perfect! that and Wednesday would both work for us. So, just keep us posted and we will try to come to the fun activities!
As for ideas, there is storytime at the SL library every Wed and Thurs morning at 11. It goes for a half hour and they sing songs and things. Parks are always a good idea. Then the first monday of each month there is free entry into the Museum of Natural history at the U. If i think of anything else I will let you know!
love the set days however Kim and I are a little hesitant to do since we tried this and our kids were the only ones getting together.
Donalee if there is a day you are willing to always meet up in the park let us know and we'll post that day so people can meet up! Sounds like Friday mornings people are loving~
This month is a big more busy for me, but come August we could attend more regularily.
